Japanese Vocabulary Builder consists of audio flashcards, transcripts and grammar. The audio flashcards are in stereo format with Japanese panned to the right channel and English panned to the left. This technique helps the non-native Japanese learner to understand as well as learn to articulate and use the words taught.

The Vocabulary flashcards are available in four levels and the Grammar Plus vocabulary builder is available in two levels. Focused on helping those attempting the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), this course enables the learner to develop vocabulary and grammar.

Japanese Vocabulary Builder is simple and focused. It is not interactive as it is not software based but is effective to accomplish its goal of teaching Japanese vocabulary and grammar to the non-native speaker.
